It is an industry-led solution, championing the recycling of farm plastic to be fully traceable, accredited and dealt with correctly to ensure plastic is recycled and repurposed. Joining Green Tractor, we can work together to produce a sustainability agenda to improve agricultural recycling and the future of agriculture itself.

How does it work?

Segregate your farm plastic into the different commodities based on product type (e.g. fertiliser in one bag, silage in another bag)
Ensure bundles are securely tied at both ends
All spray containers should be rinsed and as clean as possible
All fertiliser, feed and seed bags must be as empty as possible
Any contaminants from silage and sheeting and any other agricultural plastics should be removed
The cost of bundling the material incorrectly is passed onto the responsible farmer
Contact your closest Green Tractor collectors and wait for them to collect your plastic waste!
